PalReal is the best breakfast in Guadalajara. You'll find the city’s most hip locals frequenting this cute neighborhood eatery. Both the interior and exterior are clad in concrete, cool art and traditional Mexican artisanal tile.
The coffee is on-point, and you can grab one to-go from the take-away counter on the lower level of the restaurant.

My breakfast picks are the mini pancita, a modern twist on the torta ahogada, a typical Jalisco dish. Braised pork, avocado, crema and salsa verde all mix together on perfect French roll. It's sensational! The mini version is a half-serve and just enough.

The chiliquiles and the heuvos divorciados are my other go-to on the breakfast menu.

This place is popular among locals and often has a wait on weekends. But in my opinion, a visit is well worth it!
